Women Leading the Way

Our very own founder Mary Crouse was nominated as Hernando Sun's "Women Who Shaped Hernando County History and Women Leading the Way!" Check out the article here. https://www.hernandosun.com/womenleadingtheway#/gallery

Mary Crouse learned about the philanthropic 100 Women Who Care international movement. This is a "Giving Circle" that does and can assist charities in Hernando County. This became a reality in 2016, founding the giving circle 100+ WOMEN WHO CARE NATURE COAST organization in Hernando County; 100+ women coming together quarterly to give to a vetted local 501c3 non-profit financially, making a collective impact in their community. Their mission, 'Come together with other committed women in our community to make a huge impact on charities that affect the Nature Coast Community.' To date fourteen charities have been blessed, with members giving over $35,000, plus 50% matching funds from charities meeting the criteria of the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation. (Best Buy Family) The membership keeps growing providing subsidies to enlarge and maintain services for our community. Limitation is not an option for the members, who seek to grow and extend the hands of the 100+ women joining Mary Crouse, and the other founding members in her vision. Her leadership, courage and caring hand inspires us to do the same.
