How it Works

                   THIS IS HOW IT WORKS IN OUR COMMUNITY

• We encourage 100 or more women to commit to our group. Commitment involves attending four, one-hour meetings a year, pledging $100 per meeting ($400 per year).

• In order to be nominated, the local 501c3 charity must be vetted at least 4 weeks prior to the meeting. Click here to see if your 501c3 charity is vetted and approved. Come to a meeting or reach out to a member to get your 501c3 charity vetted. 

• Any member wishing to nominate a vetted local 501c3 charity will submit a nomination form with the vetted charity name via email or text during the nomination week. Reminders will be sent. 

• Three names will be randomly selected via a digital spinning wheel. This private meeting will be recorded. 

• Three randomly selected vetted 501c3's will each have an opportunity to present a five (5) minute presentation and five (5) minute Q&A.

• The attending members will vote and the recipient announced.

• Each member will write a check​ DIRECTLY to the selected 501c3. Members not in attendance are responsible for getting their check to the designated committee member prior to the scheduled gift delivery.

• A date and time will be scheduled prior to the closing of the meeting for the collected “gift” ($100 checks) to be presented at a photo op. 

• If each member brought just one new member to the next meeting we would reach our 100 member goal in no time. Invited your friends to our next meeting.
